Peter Götz - Team Topologies Advocate

Peter has worked in software development teams for more than 20 years. Originally a software developer, he has worked in and with teams as a developer, software architect, Scrum Master, or Product Owner in many different domains, like media, insurance, banking, the public sector or industrial environments.

Peter also worked in team of teams contexts as an agile coach and trainer. As Professional Scrum Trainer (Scrum.org), Professional Kanban Trainer (ProKanban.org) and certified iSAQB trainer for software architecture he is interested in a wide variety of topics.

With Team Topologies he has found one big missing link in the above mentioned tool chain that helps him support software development organizations more holistically (greetings, Dr. Conway!).

Team Topologies Advocacy

Peter has supported several companies in challenging their current product, system, and team structures in order to reduce cognitive load and increase flow and value. He has worked in smaller environments with a few dozen persons that wanted to grow without experiencing too much pain, but he has also worked with bigger team of team setups of a hundred people and more to find a structure that works.
