Enabling Aligned Decentralised Architecture Decisions through User Needs Mapping
Join us for this hands-on session where you’ll learn how to perform user needs mapping to enable aligned decentralised architecture decisions. User needs mapping is the value chain component of a Wardley Map, enriched with clearly defined team responsibilities. In this workshop, you’ll work in groups, each assuming the role of a software team with its own unique context and landscape. You’ll begin by mapping the user and their needs based on the information provided to each team member, then connect the software components required to meet those needs.

Team Interaction Modelling Workshop
A workshop to teach participants about the key concepts from the book Team Topologies - and how to apply the Team Topologies modeling shapes to explore organisation dynamics.
Using the Team Topologies shapes and diagramming principles, it is possible to create a series of snapshots of an organisation at various points in time that help you to understand and reason behind how and why the teams within an organisation communicate and interact.
This workshop provides an in-depth introduction to how to use Team Interaction Modeling (TIM) to effectively capture, annotate and discuss organisation evolution within the content of your organisation.

ADAConf 2024 - Workshop: Team Interaction Models
Using the modeling techniques provided by Team Topologies will help you to identify, classify, and document the existing team structures and communication channels within your organization and provide clear, concise terminology to describe how to re-organize those teams and their interactions to achieve better flow and deliver value faster.
