Eduardo da Silva is an independent consultant focused on helping software tech-enabled organizations to achieve a more sustainable fast flow of change. He does that by helping organizations to improve their thinking models and practices; improving their operating models with a focus on learning and enabling thinking principles; and coaching leaders and teams to support all those essential aspects that support the organization’s sustainable flow of change. Recent work on these topics includes his Team Topologies Academic course on Effective Enabling Teams and his work on modernizing approaches to architecture with Architecture Organization Topologies. Over the last ~20 years, Eduardo has been an academic; startup founder/CEO/CTO; consultant; software engineer and architect; and Technical Leader in different organizations & sectors. He is based in Amsterdam, Netherlands and regularly speaks at conferences and meetups, and writes on esilva.net

Eduardo is a Team Topologies Valued Practitioner (TTVP) due to his work combining Team Topologies with many highly related ideas for approaching sociotechnical systems architecture evolution. He also has done extensive work around Enabling Teams and Organizational evolution. He is the author of the Team Topologies Academy Effective Enabling Teams course. He has also created several foundational workshops from Team Topologies - as one of the first TTVPs. Eduardo has applied Team Topologies since 2020 as Principal Tech Lead at bol.com, the leading e-commerce retailer in the Netherlands and Belgium, where he helped 150+ product teams effectively scale a fast flow of change operating model. Eduardo brings a wide range of experience: from hands-on engineer and architect to first-hand experience scaling tech-enabled organizations and technical leadership.
