Jack Ridge - Team Topologies Advocate
Jack Ridge - Team Topologies Advocate
I began my career in the army, where I developed a deep interest in how teams collaborate, both within their own teams and across broader organisations - to achieve shared objectives. My deployment to Afghanistan provided firsthand experience in the dynamics of coordination, adaptability, and strategic execution, particularly in balancing offensive and defensive postures to achieve mission success.
Transitioning into technology and delivery, I started as a project manager before moving into delivery management, where I focused on enabling teams and facilitating effective ways of working. Emphasising a servant leadership approach, I have worked with some of the UK’s most recognised organisations, including Ocado and National Grid, helping them enhance delivery practices and modernise technology. Today, I specialise in improving delivery management and advocating for Team Topologies and product-centric approaches to drive sustainable, high-performing teams.
