I’m an Enterprise Architect with more than 20 years of experience helping organisations connect strategy, architecture, and day-to-day delivery. Enterprise architects are often seen in the IT world as controllers or “ivory-tower” thinkers. My work goes in the opposite direction.
I focus on providing clarity, boundaries, and practical guardrails that help teams build their own capabilities, make confident decisions, and reduce friction in how they work together. My aim is to support sustainable flow and create an environment where teams can grow at their own pace while staying aligned with the broader organisation. I help them make context-driven decisions and recognise that solutions depend on timing, resources, and the specific situation they’re solving.
Team Topologies gives me a useful structure and shared language to improve team interactions, strengthen understanding across domains, and shape healthier team-of-teams systems. I believe real change happens when architecture enables people rather than slows them down.

I was first drawn to Team Topologies when I realised how much team dynamics and cognitive load impact software delivery success. As an advocate, I actively promote Team Topologies principles through workshops, mentorship, and hands-on consulting, guiding teams in breaking down silos, improving DevOps practices, and designing scalable team architectures. I believe in practical implementation over theory, using real-world challenges to demonstrate how organisations can reduce friction, enhance autonomy, and improve business agility. My goal is to enable teams to thrive in a sustainable, well-structured environment where they can focus on what truly matters—delivering value.
