Erik Aceiro Antonio - Team Topologies Advocate

With 20 years of experience leading high-impact projects that improve efficiency and enable fast flow, I have consistently driven successful outcomes across various industry sectors.
I am deeply curious and passionate about learning emerging trends in Software Engineering—a passion that led me to earn a PhD in Computer Science and a Master's in Electrical Engineering.

I have worked extensively in modeling, architecture, and complex subsystems for Embedded Software and IoT. Today, I focus on domains related to loyalty and account management, where my work has been recognized for enhancing user experience and scalability through AWS cloud-native solutions.

I am a strong advocate for a sustainable architecture toolkit that bridges the gap between business and technology. My approach includes evaluating core domains and cognitive load, leveraging Team Topologies, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), EventStorming, and Sociotechnical Architecture to drive real evolution—guided by the balance between the architecture we design and the architecture we live.

My career journey spans academic research and industry applications, including major international and Brazilian projects such as TIDIA/Kyatera, INCT-SEC, VistaJet, Raízen, Shell Box, and Livelo—initiatives that have meaningfully impacted millions of people.

Currently I'm driving DDD adoption at Livelo through Team Topologies principles, creating sustainable growth through domain-aligned teams. Community contributor through speaking and writing on sociotechnical architecture.

I also contribute to the community through writing and speaking:
