Ivan is Director of Engineering at CROZ, author of BizTech Evolution, and host of the 0800-DEVOPS podcast. He has been part of the team that grew CROZ from a small group into a successful BizTech consultancy with over four hundred people, eventually expanding internationally. This journey has given him the opportunity to view software delivery challenges from different perspectives and use this experience to identify and eliminate friction in both internal operations and client collaborations.

Particularly interested in leadership and organizational change, Ivan helps organizations align business and technology, focus their efforts, and work smarter, not harder. His areas of special interest include DevOps culture, the sociotechnical nature of software delivery, and pragmatic AI applications.

Ivan is looking for a way to scale and optimize the software delivery process internally, Ivan turned to the Team Topologies book shortly after it was published. After implementing it successfully within his company, which is documented as an official Team Topologies case study, Ivan promoted and implemented the concept among client organizations, helping them optimize software delivery efforts by addressing organizational and technical aspects.

Working in a consulting environment, Ivan has successfully applied Team Topologies concepts across organizational boundaries, using them as an operating model and shared vocabulary in establishing strategic partnerships with clients, as described in his book BizTech Evolution.
