Leadership Masterclass: Efficient team dynamics for fast processes in your organization

Manuel Pais

This masterclass for managers conveys practical principles on how we can create and maintain an agile yet human organization - with a focus on the rapid and sustainable provision of digital services.

At the heart of Team Topologies is the principle of FastFlow: multiple parallel and continuous changes to software-supported services are implemented securely and efficiently without overloading the system.

Team Topologies shows how companies can minimize blocking dependencies and create clear responsibilities. Key success factors are:

  • Decoupling & service-centricity - avoidance of unnecessary coordination loops

  • Reducing cognitive overload - empowering teams to act independently

  • Fast market launch & higher efficiency - high savings potential

  • Clear responsibilities - Enables specific customer needs to be identified and met

  • Increased employee satisfaction & ability to innovate - Increased employee well-being and commitment (autonomy, competence, goal setting)

The goal is to achieve true business agility (aka the business shapes the organizational structures).

In this immersive workshop, participants discover together actionable (and sometimes counter-intuitive) principles and patterns for FastFlow. They will learn how organizations can adapt flexibly to constant change - without massive restructuring or rigid standardization. Using practical examples, such as JP Morgan, Docker and Telenet, we show how dependencies can be reduced, time-to-market shortened and sustainable growth enabled.

Learning objectives:

At the end of the workshop, participants will recognize obstacles to FastFlow and specific business goals in their company. The masterclass focuses on case studies, exercises and group discussions.

Target group:

This masterclass is designed for C-level leadership teams, including CEOs, CTOs, COOs and other executives, as well as vice presidents, department heads and all senior managers and executives within the organization who are directly involved in team management and organizational strategy.
