Internal platforms (or platform engineering) are generally seen as a necessity. However, the results are often unconvincing and the investments are difficult to justify. A promising approach is to focus on this:
Speed up workflows by reducing the burden on the teams using the platform.
Build trust and measure the benefits early and continuously.
This approach ensures that platforms go beyond the mere "provision of services" and become internal engines for fast flow and growth, i.e. FastFlow, and thus have an undeniable value for the organization.
Learning objectives:
In this training, you will learn and apply simple product development techniques in a platform context and understand when and how to introduce relevant platform metrics such as service adoption, user satisfaction, engagement, reliability, etc. We will also look at some platform anti-patterns that will help us recognize when a platform's course needs to be corrected.
Target group:
This training is aimed at platform owners and managers, product managers, team leaders, platform architects, DevOps engineers and anyone involved in the introduction and further development of internal platforms for rapid processes in companies.
